Lincoln's Railsplitting Festival Set For This Weekend

This weekend marks an annual event in the city of Lincoln.

This weekend is the 42nd year for the annual Railsplitting Festival which takes place at the fairgrounds in Lincoln. The Railsplitting festival features lots of older traditions, most notably the railsplitting competition. Executive Director of the Abe Lincoln Tourism Bureau of Logan County, Geoff Ladd says each year they try to come up with something new for the festival, and this year features a play set in the Pioneer times of American history.
