Bears, Rams Notes: Cutler Called Out; Forte Battling Injury

Quarterback Jay Cutler's shove of teammate J'Marcus Webb during the Bears' 23-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers is already old news according to many teammates.

Not defensive back D.J. Moore. He called Cutler's behavior "wrong" on Monday as the team prepares for Sunday's game with the St. Louis Rams.

Running back Matt Forte did not practice. He has an ankle sprain that coach Lovie Smith says is not a "high" ankle sprain, generally considered more serious.

(Lake Forest, IL)  --  Bears head coach Lovie Smith says running back Matt Forte [[ FOR-tay ]] is battling a sprained right ankle.  Smith also said the injury is not a high ankle sprain and Forte has not been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams.  Forte suffered the injury last Thursday.

>>Rams' Fisher Clarifies Jackson Situation

(Earth City, MO)  --  Rams head coach Jeff Fisher spoke to the media yesterday about Steven Jackson and his apparent injury from Sunday's game.  Fisher reiterated that the running back's groin was tight and the team chose not to risk further injury.  He added that Jackson was not benched for spiking the ball after what he thought was a touchdown, resulting in an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.  The Rams head to Chicago to battle the Bears on Sunday.
