NASCAR officially released its 2013 Sprint Cup Series schedule on Tuesday.  As expected, the Chase race at Talladega Superspeedway will return to its traditional spot on the Sprint Cup calendar.  Talladega will be scheduled for October 20th and become the sixth round in the 10-race Chase.  This year's Talladega fall event was pushed forward to October 7th to allow Kansas Speedway's new pavement to be completely finished.

The 36 point races for next season begins with the Feburary 24th Daytona 500 and concludes with the November 17th race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.  The pre-season, non-points Shootout event at Daytona International Speedway will run on February 16th, and the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway will be held on May 18th.
