The Clinton Maroons look to bounce back from a 40-12 loss at the hands of the Monticello Sages last Friday. The Maroons trailed 21-0 heading into halftime, however two touchdowns in the opening minutes of the second half brought them within a 21-12 score. That was all the closer the Maroons would get as the Sages outlasted the Maroons late for the win. Clinton enters play tonight 1-4 and 0-1 in Okaw Valley Black Action. They'll play host to a 3-2 Shelbyville team who is 35-14 win at Decatur St. Teresa, and has won 3 straight. The Monticello Sages look to improve on their 4-1 mark tonight as they head into Sullivan to take on a 1-4 Redskin team that is coming off a 49-20 loss at the hands of the Unity Rockets last Friday. It's homecoming week for the Redskins. The Sages beat the Maroons last Friday 40-12 behind the 95 yards apiece on the ground from Ryan Donahue and Dylan Knisely. The Sages are 1-0 in Okaw Valley Black action and Sullivan is 0-1.
