First Presidential Debate Tonight

President Obama will square off with GOP candidate Mitt Romney in the first debate of the election cycle tonight.  Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, says women's issues are among the most important in the nation.

Dan Rutherford, Chairman of Romney's campaign in Illinois, says there are several important issues at hand but the economy takes center stage.

Current polls show President Obama with an 18-point lead over Romney among women voters.  Romney's Illinois campaign chairman says women's issues are certainly a priority for the GOP nominee.  The presidential debate airs tonight at 8:00 p.m.  President Obama's campaign is hosting quite a few watch parties across the state.  Check out BarackObama.com/Debate to find one near you.  Romney's official watch party is being held at the Heroes West Sports Grill in Joliet at 7:30 p.m.
