Local Representative To Reach Out To Elderly Community

One local representative will be reaching out to the elderly in the area to help inform them of Alzheimer's Disease.

Today and tomorrow, Representative Bill Mitchell will be paying visits to local senior centers to discuss Alzheimer's Disease. Rep. Mitchell explains he would like to talk about research developments and the things he is doing to help further that research in a time when the 'Baby Boomer' generation is starting to feel the effects of this disease.

One idea Rep. Mitchell is proposing is to introduce a license plate, where the proceeds generated from it's sales would go towards Alzheimer's prevention research. He feels because so many families are impacted by this disease, the response could be great.
