A central Illinois man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for his role in a marijuana trafficking operation.
22-year-old Tylor Nowlin of Saybrook was sentenced as part of a plea deal.
Nowlin is among seven people targeted in a McLean County Sheriff's Department investigation. His grandmother is also among those facing marijuana trafficking charges.
Operation Clean Sweep began in June 2011 after another suspect picked up a package from California containing marijuana at an Illinois post office.
