 width=>>Rodgers, Rolle, Hanson Take Weekly NFC Honors

(New York, NY)  --  The NFL is recognizing Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Giants safety Antrel Rolle and Lions kicker Jason Hanson as the NFC's top performers in Week Six.  Rodgers earned offensive honors by throwing for 338 yards and six touchdowns in Green Bay's 42-24 win at Houston.  Rolle took defensive honors with a pair of interceptions in New York's 26-3 win at San Francisco.  Hanson claimed special teams honors with four field goals, including the game-winner in overtime, as Detroit rallied for a 26-23 win at Philadelphia.

(New York, NY)  --  Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, Bills safety Jairus Byrd and Ravens kick returner Jacoby Jones have been named the AFC's top performers for Week Six.  Manning passed for 309 yards and three touchdowns in Denver's 35-24 comeback win at San Diego.  Byrd had two interceptions in Buffalo's 19-16 overtime win at Arizona.  Jones tied an NFL record with a 108-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in Baltimore's 31-29 victory over Dallas.

(San Francisco, CA)  --  The Seattle Seahawks face off against the San Francisco 49ers in a key NFC West battle at Candlestick Park.  Both teams come in at 4-and-2, tied with Arizona atop the division.  The Seahawks are seeking their third straight victory after rallying for a 24-23 home win over the Patriots on Sunday.  Seattle has won four of its last five overall, but is playing its third road game in four weeks.  The 49ers are looking to bounce back from a 26-3 home loss to the Giants in what was a rematch of last season's NFC Championship Game.  Alex Smith had his worst game of the season, throwing three interceptions without a touchdown.  The 49ers have won the last three against Seattle.

(Green Bay, WI)  --  The Green Bay Packers have placed linebacker D.J. Smith on season-ending injured reserve with a knee injury.  Smith suffered the injury in Sunday's 42-24 win over the Houston Texans.  The 23-year-old had started each of the Packers' first six games, recording 42 tackles and two sacks.  Meanwhile, Green Bay has signed wide receiver Jeremy Ross and defensive end Drew Vanderlin to the practice squad.  The 3-and-3 Packers take on the 3-and-3 Rams Sunday in St. Louis.
