As heard on 95.9 WEZC the Monticello Sages defeated the Nokomis Redskins by a score of 45-26 in Nokomis. For the Sages, Austin McCall carried the ball six times for 46 yards and a touchdown. Parker Trice completed four of nine passes for 25 yards and an interception. The First State Bank of Monticello Player Of The Game was Ryan Donohue who rushed 17 times for 276 yards and four touchdowns.

Monticello improves to 8-2 on the season and advances  in the 3A IHSA State Playoffs. Nokomis ends their season with a record of 8-2.
