Midwest to Feel Effects Of Sandy

Some of the upper Midwest will feel the effects of Hurricane Sandy.  The National Weather Service has issued a lakeshore flood warning for Lake Michigan in Chicago to be in effect from early tomorrow morning through Wednesday afternoon.  Cook County's coastline could see waves up to 22-feet high thanks to the storm.  Down South, the Riverbend and St. Louis areas may experience gusty winds which could reach the area tomorrow.  Meanwhile, air traffic will be the biggest headache for travelers planning to leave or visit the East Coast during the early part of the week.  Airlines have cancelled more than seven-thousand flights to places like New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC.  Several inches of rain, flooding, and high winds are expected as the storm moves inland from Delaware to Ohio.
