TNF Recap; Rams Stay Quiet At Deadline

(San Diego, CA) -- San Diego scored twice defensively in a 31-13 rout over the Chiefs. Shaun Phillips recovered a fumble in the end zone and Demorrio Williams returned an interception 59 yards for a touchdown as the Chargers forced Kansas City into four total turnovers. Phillip Rivers threw for 220 yards with two touchdowns and an interception as the Bolts improved to 4-and-4. Ryan Mathews ran for 67 yards on 13 carries while Antonio Gates and Malcom Floyd each hauled in a TD grab. Matt Cassel threw the interception while passing for 181 yards. Jamaal Charles was held to 39 yards on 12 carries but added three catches for 27 yards. Dwayne Bowe caught nine balls for 79 yards as KC dropped to 1-and-7.

(Earth City, MO) -- The Rams practiced yesterday in Earth City and now have four days off. The team will gather next Tuesday and continue to prepare for its next game against the 49ers. St. Louis travels to San Francisco a week from Sunday to face the first-place Niners.

The two have jointly pledged one-million-dollars to the American Red Cross to aid in the recovery following Hurricane Sandy. The league and its television partners will also air pre-game and in-game messages to promote public donations during this weekend's games.
