Local Artist Hoping To Stir Up Enthusiasm For Local Art Work

One local artist has her eye on sprucing up the community through art work.

Local artist Sharon Snyder recently completed a sculpture of a bird, which she calls 'Archie', which is now display at the Clinton City Hall. Having been rejuvenated by that effort, she is hoping to drum up some support from local art enthusiasts to continue in that effort.

Having taken on the piece of art at Clinton's City Hall, Snyder explains helping out can be a great way to make yourself feel good. She says whatever it is you enjoy doing, it feels good to make a difference and do something positive for your community.

Snyder says she is looking for ideas from community members as much as she has ideas on her own. She hopes to make herself approachable to talk to and bounce ideas off.

If you are interested in talking with her about any ideas or ways to get involved, you can contact Sharon Snyder at sharondipity77@gmail.com.
