NFL Notes: Cutler Status Unknown; Two Rams Return To Practice

(Chicago, IL) -- With the Bears not practicing on Wednesday, there was no update on the status of quarterback Jay Cutler. Cutler suffered a concussion on Sunday night against the Houston Texans. The Bears take on the 49ers on Monday night.

(St. Louis, MO) -- Rams wide receiver Chris Givens and cornerback Janoris Jenkins returned to practice on Wednesday. Both players did not play against the 49ers on Sunday for violating team rules. Head coach Jeff Fisher said both would play this Sunday against the Jets, but did not reveal if they would start.

(Orchard Park, NY) -- The AFC East takes center stage in this week's Thursday night NFL matchup as the Miami Dolphins go up against the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Dolphins are looking to snap a two-game losing streak after back-to-back losses to the Colts and Titans. Miami had won three straight before that and is 4-and-5 overall. The Bills come in having lost three straight and five of their last six to fall to 3-and-6 on the season. Running back Fred Jackson will not play against Miami after suffering a concussion late in the team's 36-31 loss at New England this past Sunday.
