Report: Bears Jeffry To Have Knee Scoped

Several outlets are reporting Chicago Bears receiver Alshon Jeffery will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

The Chicago Tribune, citing sources, was first to report he will have the procedure on Wednesday. ESPNChicago.com reports he could return in two weeks, while a source tells the Chicago Sun-Times he could be out four to six weeks.

The Bears would not confirm the reports.

Jeffery was injured in Monday's loss at San Francisco and left in the second half. It was the second injury for the rookie, who had missed the previous four games with a broken right hand.

A second-round draft pick, Jeffery has 16 catches for 199 yards and two touchdowns.
