An Illinois State Trooper was reportedly struck and killed during a traffic stop on Interstate 55 this morning.  The trooper was off his motorcycle and standing next to a car when he was struck by a semi.  Officials with the Illinois State Police have not yet confirmed the death.  The accident happened near mile marker 62, near Litchfield.
