Those who enjoy visiting local zoos will have the opportunity to view one in a different light.... Literally.

The Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington will be bringing back their "Wild Light" night at the zoo this year. Superintendent of the Bloomington Zoo Jay Tetzloff explains this was an event that was brought back last year after about a decades absence. He notes this year's event will have some new features as well.

The younger kids will certainly enjoy Sunday's show of Santa at the zoo, trying the reindeer out for his team. Tetzloff says Santa will put the Zoo's reindeer to the test by running them through different obstacles.

The "Wild Lights" event is now a two-night event. It will be tonight and tomorrow from 5:30pm to 8pm Miller Park Zoo will have rare evening hours during the special event Wild Lights. The Zoo will be decorated with thousands of luminarias, illuminating the walkways of the grounds with candle light.

The Reindeer event will be Sunday at 1 pm at the zoo. For more information on the events you can visit millerparkzoo.org.
