Clinton's newest pharmacy, Sav Mor Pharmacy held a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new storefront in Cedar Square.

Sav Mor Pharmacy opened their doors Monday December 3. Sav Mor Pharmacy owner Dave Fulk explains they have a service unique to the area, home delivery. He says they deliver within an approximate 20-mile radius.

Sav Mor Pharmacy is your traditional retail pharmacy, however, Fulk notes they can do compound prescriptions. He explains compound prescriptions are a special type of prescription.

Along with being a retail pharmacy, Sav Mor also has a full line of vitamins and other health care products. Fulk says if there is something that you need that is not on their shelves, they can special order it for you.

Executive Director of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, Marian Brisard says the location in Cedar Square joins several other businesses to open recently. She feels their home delivery service will be a huge plus to the residents of Clinton and DeWitt County.

Fulk says being from the area, he understands the needs of the area, and he explains they felt the area could use an independent pharmacy, and that they can deliver a better service. Sav Mor Pharmacy is located at 59 Cedar Square in Clinton.
