Officials at Western Illinois University have approved a 20-year plan for the Macomb campus.
A statement from the university says the board of trustees approved it last week. Officials say it's a continuation of the university's 2007 plan.
Officials say about 75% of goals set in the last plan were either completed or are in progress.
The "Campus Master Plan" sets goals and plans for the university until 2032. It was written with feedback from the board, a campus committee, campus groups and studies from architects.
Part of the plan is an approximately $72 million performing arts center.
