Clinton Chamber Annual Dinner To Honor Non-Profit Groups

The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Dinner is right around the corner.

Once again this year the Chamber will be handing out some awards to local businesses, non-profit groups, and local citizens. Carolyn Sugg with the Chamber says they once again are bringing back their "Large Business of the Year" and "Small Business of the Year" awards. She says there are some criteria that must be met, such as, the business awards are only open to Chamber Member businesses and are voted on by Chamber members.

New this year will be the "Non-Profit of the Year" award. Sugg explains because they have such a large number of non-profit groups that are Chamber members, they felt they deserved recognition for the many great things they do throughout the community.

Also back this year will be the "Clintonia of the Year Award". This award can be nominated by anyone in the community and Sugg says each year they get so many deserving candidates as well. The community will vote on those nominated and they will be named at the Annual Dinner.
