Paul Jackson, 25, Decatur was issued a citation for speeding, 73 mph in a 55 mph zone. Jackson posted his IL Drivers License as bond and was released.

 

Cody Mills, 20, Clinton was issued citations for operating uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed/ accident and 2 counts driving under the influence. Mills posted the necessary bond and was released.

 

Thomas Benge, 28, Bloomington was issued a citation for speeding, 66 mph in a 45 mph zone. Benge posted his IL Drivers License as bond and was released.

 

Chelsea Sloan, 22, Forsyth was issued a citation for operating uninsured vehicle. Sloan posted her IL Drivers License as bond and was released.

 

Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at approximately 7:56 a.m.on Friday, December 21, revealed that a vehicle driven by Michelle McRoberts, 33, Decatur, was traveling northbound on US 51, due to icy conditions McRoberts lost control of her vehicle, spinning in a counterclockwise motion and headed toward the median, where Everett Burchman, 61, Decatur, was stationary due to sliding off the road. McRoberts vehicle struck Burchmans vehicle. No citations were issued. McRoberts was transported to Decatur Memorial Hospital.

 

Investigation into the scene of an accident which occurred at approximately 8:43 a.m. on Friday, December 21, revealed that a vehicle driven by Aaron Priddis, 18, Bloomington, was traveling northbound on US 51 in icy conditions, when Priddis lost control and slid into the center median striking a wooden sign post. There were no injuries reported at the scene.
