A longtime minister in the Clinton Community will be departing next week.
 
Ernie Harvey, Minister of Children and Jr. High, has resigned his position at First Christian Church of Clinton after 20-plus years on staff.  He spoke to the congregation one last time this past Sunday at FCC. Harvey says that it was an emotional day full of memories.

This coming Sunday, Januray 6th, will be Harvey's last Sunday at First Christian Church. He says that there will be a recognition of his family on Sunday morning during the service as well as a reception later in the evening.

Harvey has accepted a position in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He will be working with college students, children and senior adults at Christ's Church in Fort Wayne. He wants to concentrate on getting those particular age groups involved in local ministries.
