Deadline Quickly Approaching To Vote For Chamber Dinner Awards

The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce's Annual Dinner is quickly approaching, and so is the deadline to vote on the awards that will be handed out that evening.

Awards will be given this year to the Small and Large Business of the Year, Clintonia of the Year, and the Non-Profit of the Year. Executive Director of the Chamber, Marian Brisard explains the deadline to vote for those nominations are quickly approaching. Voting ends for the awards Wednesday.

The Small and Large Business of the Year awards are well represented on the ballots for this year. Brisard explains, only Chamber Members are allowed to vote for those recipients and only Chamber member businesses are able to receive the awards.

Nominations were accepted through a short period in December and Brisard says they had great participation and great results. New for this year will be the non-profit of the year.

The Clintonian of 2012 has seven nominees for this year's award. Brisard feels each person has their own strengths and areas they are very active when it comes to the Clinton Community. She feels each one has a strong case for being the Clintonian of 2012.

This year's Annual Chamber Dinner is January 19 at the Clinton Country Club on US Route 51. The night will kick off with drinks being served at 5 pm and the annual Chamber Meeting and the awards ceremony at 6 with dinner to follow. Tickets are on sale now and are $35 per person, $60 for a couple, and $240 for a table of eight.
