(Philadelphia, PA) -- The Philadelphia Eagles are rumored to be planning a second interview with Brian Kelly. The Notre Dame coach met with team owner Jeffrey Lurie Tuesday night before heading overseas. According to the "Philadelphia Inquirer," Kelly once said he'd never leave his dream job with the Fighting Irish but he did not rule out an NFL opportunity. Today, Lurie is meeting with former Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith.

(Green Bay, WI) -- Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb both missed practice yesterday as the team prepares for Saturday's playoff showdown in San Francisco. Nelson hurt his ankle last week against Minnesota, but head coach Mike McCarthy is hopeful he will practice today. Cobb was home with an illness. Linebacker Clay Matthews was limited in practice, while defensive end Jerel Worthy will miss Saturday's game.

(Undated) -- Saturday's playoff game between the Packers and 49ers has a special meaning for the starting quarterbacks. Both signal callers will face the team they grew up rooting for. Aaron Rodgers was a 49ers fan growing up in nearby Chico and played collegiately at Cal. 49ers signal caller Colin Kaepernick is from Milwaukee and grew up cheering for the Packers.
