Smith led the Knicks with a game-high 25 points along with six assists. Tyson Chandler poured in 12 points with 15 rebounds for New York, which has dropped two in-a-row and five of its last eight. The Knicks were without Carmelo Anthony, who was suspended for his actions following a game against Boston earlier in the week.
