(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Chicago Bears have reportedly found their next head coach. The "Chicago Tribune" is reporting that the "Monsters of the Midway" are set to hire Marc Trestman for the job. Trestman had previously been the head coach of the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes since 2008. The 57-year-old won two Grey Cup's in his time in Montreal. He was an assistant coach in the NFL starting in the mid-80's with a number of teams. This will be his first NFL head coaching job and he replaces Lovie Smith, who spent nine years with Chicago. Trestman was selected over Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians and Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell.

(Chicago, IL) -- Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall is due to undergo a hip procedure in the near future, leaving his status for the Pro Bowl in doubt. Marshall says the arthroscopic procedure is "nothing" and will only put him out of action for "probably two weeks." The Pro Bowl is on January 27th. Marshall caught a Bears single-season record 118 passes for 1,508 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.
