The Chicago Bears have named Mel Tucker their new defensive coordinator.  Tucker replaces Rod Marinelli, who told the Bears he would not return.  The 41-year-old was with the Jacksonville Jaguars since 2009, where he was the DC and assistant head coach.  Prior to Jacksonville, Tucker was with the Cleveland Browns from 2005-08.  This move was one of many new head coach Marc Trestman has made to fill his staff.  The former CFL head coach also hired his tight ends, quarterbacks and running backs coaches.
