Mental Health Expert Wants Compromise On Capital Hill

President Obama wants to continue fighting to reduce the costs of healthcare for people across the nation. Joel Johnson, with Human Resources Development Institute, says the Affordable Care Act will be extremely helpful in getting people the care they need.

Johnson says contrary to public opinion, the Affordable Care Act will not just benefit the poor.

Johnson adds one former Illinois Congressman's struggle is proof that people of all walks of life sometimes need a helping hand.

Johnson made the trek out to Washington D.C. to be a part of the inaugural events. He didn't make the trip four years ago and said he wanted to make sure he got a chance to be a part of history. Johnson says he's gotten a renewed sense of hope in the nation and in government. He wants to see politicians on Capital Hill put aside their differences and get to work solving the nation's most pressing problems.
