>>Lady Maroons In Semi-Final At Okaw Tournament

The Clinton Lady Maroons will be in action tonight at 6:30 pm as they look to move on the the Okaw Valley Girls Tournament Championship. The Lady Maroons were the #2 seed in this year's tournament and defeated Decatur St. Teresa Saturday night by a score of 68-58. Tonight they take on Maroa-Forsyth, the tournament's #3 seed, who defeated Tolono Unity in overtime Saturday 58-52. The winner of tonight's matchup takes on the winner of Central A&M and Sullivan. That game will be Thursday at 8pm.

The Clinton Maroons continue Okaw Valley play tonight as they travel to Tolono Unity High School. The Maroons will look to end a 12-game losing streak, while Unity looks to improve on a 6-9 mark. The Monticello Sages look to improve on their 5-1 mark in the Okaw Valley tonight as they take on the Argenta-Oreana Bombers tonight at Argenta-Oreana High School. After dropping a game at Meridian eleven days ago, the Sages have bounced back with wins against Tuscola and Sullivan. The Sages are tied for first in the Okaw at 5-1 with four other teams. The Sages are 15-2 overall.

Tomorrow the Sages will learn where they sit in the Okaw Tournament as Okaw coaches votes will determine their seed placement. The Okaw Valley Tournament for the boys kicks off this Friday and continues to next Saturday.
