Nick Stokowski scored 34 points, Bryan Phipps recorded a double-double, and the Monticello Sages defeated Argenta-Oreana Tuesday night 71-54. Bryan Phipps had 15 points and 12 rebounds. Matt Kruse added 15 points and nine rebounds as the Sages used a 20-9 third quarter to pull away.

34 points is not Nick Stokowski's career high. As a sophomore last year, Stokowski scored 35 points against the Bombers in Monticello.

The Sages shot 19-22 from the free throw line and had 48 points in the paint.

The Bombers were led by Keegan Mchood with 15 points.

With the win the Sages improve to 16-2 and improve to 6-1 in the Okaw Conference.

With the loss the Bombers fall to 8-11 and 0-7 in the Okaw Conference.
