>>Report: Lakers Point Fingers At Meeting

(Memphis, TN) -- The season-long troubles of the Los Angeles Lakers apparently have hit their boiling point among the players. The "Los Angeles Times" reports the Lakers held a clear-the-air team meeting in Memphis Wednesday morning, where one person says "guys went at each other a little bit." Kobe Bryant reportedly directly asked Dwight Howard if he disliked playing with Bryant. Head coach Mike D'Antoni also apparently told the players he was tired of reading newspaper stories about players questioning his offense. The Lakers have struggled to gel all season with new additions Howard and Steve Nash. They fell 105-93 in Memphis last night to fall to 17-and-25 on the season. LA currently sit in 12th place in the Western Conference.

>>Major Investors For Kings

(Sacramento, CA) -- Two major investors may be teaming up to buy the Sacramento Kings and keep the NBA team in town. The "Sacramento Bee" reports billionaire Ron Burkle and Bay Area investor Mark Mastrov are seriously considering putting in an offer and helping the city build a new downtown sports arena. Burkle owns the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins and Mastrov is the founder of 24 Hour Fitness. A Seattle investment group has already agreed to buy the Kings with the hope of moving the team to Seattle. That deal is still subject to approval by the NBA's Board of Governors.
