'Hawks, Blues Win

(Dallas, TX) -- Marian Hossa [[ HOE-suh ]] notched his fifth goal of the season 1:41 into overtime to lift the Blackhawks over the Stars, 3-2. Jonathan Toews [[ Tayves ]] tied the game at two with six minutes left in regulation, while Patrick Sharp scored in the second period for Chicago, which stayed undefeated at 4-and-0. The Hawks were 3-of-7 on power play chances. Corey Crawford stopped 21 shots in the win. Kari Lehtonen [[ KAR-ee LET-ih-nin ]] made 38 saves in defeat. Loui Eriksson and Ray Whitney each found the back of the net to put Dallas up 2-0. The Stars fell to 2-1-and-1.

(St. Louis, MO) -- Jaroslav Halak [[ YAHR-roh-slav HAH-lak ]] had to make just 13 saves for his second shutout of the season and 24th of his career, as the Blues blanked the Predators 3-0 at Scottrade Center. Patrik Berglund tallied a goal and an assist, while T.J. Oshie and Vladimir Tarasenko also lit the lamp for the Note, which bounced back from its first loss of the season and improved to 3-and-1. Pekka Rinne [[ PEH-kuh RIH-neh ]] allowed all three goals on 24 shots for Nashville, which fell to 1-1-and-2.
