The Clinton Maroons travel to Shelbyville tonight to take ont he Shelbyville Rams as the Okaw Valley Conference tournament opens play tonight. The Maroons received the last overall seed. Shelbyville is the fifth seed in the tournament. The Winner of this game will take on Central A&M tomorrow afternoon at Maroa-Forsyth High School, the site of this year's Okaw Tournament.

Okaw Valley Conference Tournament games do not count towards the teams' conference record.

The Monticello Sages will have a Friday night off this week as they prepare for a 3 pm Saturday game. Monticello is the Okaw Valley Tournament's #1 overall seed and will play the winner of tonight's contest between Warrensburg-Latham and Sullivan.

The Sages are 16-2 overall and 6-1 in the Okaw Valley. After having a 12-game winning streak snapped, the Sages have since rattled off three straight.

Monticello has yet to see Warrensburg-Latham, but they did edge out Sullivan last Friday night in overtime, 48-45.
