Baum Chevrolet Buick Remodel Continues, Nearing Completing

Baum Chevy Buick's remodel continues as the storefront will have a new look soon.

width=Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealerships around the country are going to a uniform exterior look, however, it is the inside of the dealerships that owners had a little flexibility with. Owner of Baum Chevy Buick in Clinton, Scott Baum explains their interior should have a nice flow to it that will benefit both his staff and the customers.

As progress continues at the site, the east side of the building, which neighbors Ted's Garage, has added garages, but these garages will be geared towards a customer drive through-like experience. Baum explains the service drive, which is nearing completion, allows customers to bring their vehicles into these new garages and get out of their vehicle away from the weather.

width=The east side of the facility also has a new waiting area which has glass exposure to the garage where the customers car would be taken care of. Baum says all of their employees offices, which are now finished, will have glass exposure as well. Baum says you will see a lot of glass with the new design.

Baum says the last remodel to the dealership in 1992 and it is original to 1948. He says they are excited to go to the next level and is glad Chevrolet kept them as a dealer.

A specific date has not been set for the remodel, but the goal is to have things finished by the spring.
