DeWitt County State's Attorney Karl Koritz confirms to Regional Radio News, that an investigation is ongoing into an alleged incident that happened on Monday involving a Clinton man. Clinton Police earlier this week reported to Regional Radio News the arrest of 40-year-old Tony C. Snelling on battery charges. Snelling was taken to the DeWitt County Jail and released to corrections according to Clinton Police.
State's Attorney Koritz would not release any further details regarding the incident, other than an investigation is ongoing.
