Crawford Helps Blackhawks Blank Preds

Corey Crawford made 17 saves for his first shutout of the season as the Blackhawks dropped the Predators, 3-0. It was the sixth shutout of Crawford's career. Marcus Kruger and Jonathan Toews [[ tayves ]] each lit the lamp in the second period for Chicago, which remains the NHL's lone team without a regulation loss at 9-0-and-2. Patrick Kane added his ninth goal of the year in the final frame. Pekka Rinne [[ PECK-uh REE-nay ]] turned away 24 shots for Nashville, which was outshot 27-17. The Preds have dropped two straight since winning four in-a-row and are now 5-3-and-4.
