Police Use Unconventional Means To Separate Deer

Three Illinois police officers used unconventional means to untangle two deer.  They fired off four rounds to separate the bucks, whose antlers had gotten caught up during a fight.  The deer were freed after the fourth shot but one PETA member says he wasn't happy with the officers' method.  A video of the shooting is posted on the Illinois Conservation Police Facebook Page.  That's where Marc Dorencz says quote, "As a proud member of PETA, I am appalled at this video.  The officer should have comforted the deer before shooting at them."  The officers reportedly feared the bucks would starve to death if they didn't take action to separate them.
