Blackhawks, Blues Win

(Chicago, IL) -- The Blackhawks jumped out to a 3-0 lead and held off the Kings for a 3-2 victory. Brent Seabrook, Jonathan Toews [[ tayves ]] and Patrick Sharp each scored for Chicago, which improved to 12-0-and-3 on the season. The 'Hawks remain the only team in the NHL without a regulation loss. Ray Emery turned aside 25 shots for the win. Mike Richards scored both goals for Los Angeles, which dipped to 5-6-and-2 overall. Jonathan Quick allowed all three goals on 37 attempts in the setback.

>>Blues Edge Canucks In Shootout

(Vancouver, British Columbia) -- T.J. Oshie and Andy McDonald scored in the shootout to lift the Blues past the Canucks, 4-3. Each player also scored in regulation, as did Vladimir Sobotka for St. Louis. Jake Allen turned away 28 shots for the Blues, who have won three straight to move to 9-5-and-1. Henrik Sedin had a goal and assist while Mason Raymond and Ryan Kesler also scored for Vancouver. Roberto Luongo turned away 20 shots for the Canucks, who have lost two straight since a six-game winning streak. Vancouver is now 8-3-and-3.
