The country's midsection is dealing with a massive cold front and the southern states are dealing with severe weather late Monday.  Portions of Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio and Missouri are either getting hit with a cold blast or are bracing for one.  Heavy rain is changing to heavy snow on the western side of this storm front.  To the south, parts of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee are dealing with thunderstorms carrying heavy rain.  Flooding is likely is low lying areas across the south and in the Midwest.
