Michael Jordan is being offered the chance to give baseball another try. The Joliet Slammers of the Independent Frontier League have offered the NBA legend a maximum 16-hundred-dollar per month contract. General Manager Chris Franklin says the team is serious about wanting him to play, but at the very least wants to retire his number-45 in a baseball stadium. The now 50-year-old Jordan briefly retired from the Chicago Bulls in the 1990's to pursue a career in baseball. Franklin says there is an age limit in the Frontier League, but they are willing to pay the fine to have Jordan play.
