Viktor Stalberg tied the game in the second period before Brandon Saad scored the game-winner shorthanded early in the third for the 'Hawks, who improved to 14-0-and-3 on the year. Ray Emery turned away 26 shots for the victory. Patrick Marleau [[ MAR-low ]] scored his 11th goal of the year for San Jose, which was outshot by Chicago 34-27. Antti Niemi [[ ANN-tee nee-EM-ee ]] made 32 saves for the Sharks, who have dropped eight out of nine after starting the season 7-and-0. San Jose is now 8-5-and-3.
