Monticello/Clifton Central Sectional Matchup Rescheduled For Tonight; Other Area Games Postponed, Played

The Monticello Sages boys basketball team is headed to Sectionals this evening as they take on Clifton Central. Clifton Central defeated Momence Friday night 46-41 at Clifton Central. Monticello defeated Unity 53-37 at Sullivan High School. Monticello enters play tonight at 21-5, Clifton Central is 19-9.

The game was to be played last night, but was canceled at the request of Clifton Central.

Tonight's game is at 7:30 at Unity High School. You can hear the game live on 95.9 FM WEZC and online at dewittdailynews.com.

The winner of tonight's contest plays the winner of tomorrow night's winner between Bishop McNamara and St. Joseph-Ogden for the Sectional Championship.
