Edwards Ends Drought With Win At Phoenix

Carl Edwards ended a 70-race winless streak by taking the checkered flag in Sunday's Subway Fresh Fit 500 from Phoenix International Raceway.  It was the second-longest drought of Edwards' career as he led the final 78 laps for the victory.  Last week's Daytona 500 champion Jimmie Johnson finished second followed by Denny Hamlin.  Brad Keselowski came in fourth place followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr., who was second last week at Daytona.  Danica Patrick had a rough ride in her follow-up to a strong Daytona 500 run.  Patrick wrecked on lap 185 and finished 39th.  The Sprint Cup circuit heads to Las Vegas next week.
