Knicks Use Big Second Half To Defeat Cavs

The Knicks ended a 10-game losing streak in Cleveland as they defeated the Cavaliers, 102-97, behind 22 points and six rebounds from Amar'e Stoudemire. Carmelo Anthony left the game in the first quarter with a right knee injury and did not return. New York trailed by as many as 22 in the first half before pulling out the win to improve to 36-and-21. J.R. Smith added 18 off the bench, while Steve Novak hit four of seven threes. Tyson Chandler blocked Kyrie Irving's game tying three-point attempt on Cleveland's final offensive possession. Irving made his return after missing the three previous games with a hyperextended right knee. He scored 22 points with six assists and five rebounds. The Cavs are 20-and-40.
