Hundreds Gather To See National Recording Artist Perform in Clinton

A Sunday performance of national country recording artist, Easton Corbin drew several hundred people on the downtown Clinton Square Sunday afternoon.

The concert was thanks to a record turnout for a vehicle test drive at Douglas Dodge in Clinton that benefited the FFA. FFA members and their friends and family, along with Douglas Dodge employees and their families were able to have exclusive access to the stage, that saw it's first major performance of the summer on the new Mr. Lincoln Stage.

Hundreds gathered on the streets and near businesses nearby for the performance.

Clinton City Administrator, Tim Followell, issued the following statement Monday following the concert:

"Dear Clinton FFA & Douglas Dodge,

Yesterday was such a great day with Easton Corbin in town. What was suppose to be a private event at the high school ended up being a community celebration.
Through the generosity of both of you and the Easton Corbin group we were all able to be part of something very few communities will ever be able to lay claim to.
Again, on behalf of our community THANK YOU which is why I love our small town."
