Police in the northern Illinois city of Dwight say a gun recovered from the scene of a suicide was used in the murder of two women.
The .40 caliber Glock handgun used in the June 26 suicide was reported stolen during a residential burglary in Morris, Illinois.
Dwight Police Chief Tim Henson said Monday the Glock was used to shoot to death Donna Denker and her daughter, 30-year-old Kelli Denker. The boyfriend of Kelli Denker was also shot in the June 14 incident, but survived. Henson didn't release more information about the case.
Sixty-year-old Donna Denker was a retired mental health technician and 30-year-old Kelli Denker was a manager at the Dwight Dairy Queen.
Dwight is about 75 miles southwest of Chicago in Livingston County.
