CHS Welcomes New Assistant Principal

 width=Clinton Schools are set to resume next week, high school students will be introduced to a new face within the administration.

Bob Svencner comes to the Clinton school district from Olympia High School where he served as Activities Director. According to Svencner, he feels Clinton High School is a good fit because he wanted to work closer with kids.

Principal of Clinton High School, Jerry Wayne feels Svencner is going to fit right in. It is Wayne's goal to create a sense of family and community within the high school, and he feels, together they are going to work together very well to achieve that.

According to Wayne, he was wanting to find an assistant principal who had some differing ideas. He explains he also wanted someone with some experience. Going into his first full year as an administrator, he feels someone with experience will be able to balance him having experience in the district for over 20 years.

Wayne and Svencner both feel they will work together and differing ideas should never become an issue. They both say they want what is best for the students in their building.

Wayne took over as Principal of the high school mid-year last school year. He previously spent over 20 years as a math instructor.
