A Clinton car dealership is stepping up this month to host a special test drive that will benefit the local school district.

Wilson Chrysler-Jeep will be holding their annual "Drive for the Kids" August 26 from 3 pm to 7 pm at the new Clinton Elementary School. For every test drive of one of the vehicles Wilson's brings to the new building, the dealership will donate $10.

The 2014 Chrysler Town and Country minivans are going to be the showcased vehicle being tested for the event.

Steve Wilson, owner of Wilson Chrysler-Jeep, says they enjoy working with the community to support the kids. He adds the event is always a lot of fun and they enjoy working together to help the kids of the community.

As an added bonus, the national Chrysler corporation will donate an additional $5-thousand for the school with the highest number of test drives in each of their five geographic regions.

For the participants, those who take a test drive, they will be entered into a sweepstakes for $45-thousand towards the purchase of a new Chrysler group vehicle.
