Warner Library Hosting DeWitt County's Second Chance For Pets Saturday

 width=Two local groups are teaming up to help find local animals a permanent home.

The Warner Public Library and Second Chance for Pets of DeWitt County are gearing up for a special event this Saturday only. According to librarian Bobbi Perryman, Second Chance will have some of their pets that are seeking to be adopted at the library for their guests and patrons to see.

This is a cause that hits close to home for many of the staff at the library. Children's librarian Paula Lopatick explains she has had four dogs that have been adopted through Second Chance for Pets and notes many other staffers at the library have adopted animals in the past.

Second Chance representatives will be at the library this Saturday, August 23, from 11 am to 3 pm with many animals that are seeking permanent homes.
