Crimestoppers Investigating Weekend Theft

 width=The Clinton Police Department is seeking the public's help and information in solving a theft that occurred over the weekend of September 12th – 14th.

On Friday September 12th, a 2011 model S 175 Bobcat skid steer was delivered to a local construction site after the piece of machinery was rented for the weekend. Upon the rental company returning to the job site on Monday to retrieve the Bobcat, it was learned that suspects had provided false identification and rental information and had stolen the skid steer.

This piece of machinery is described as being white in color and bears the rental number 310152 on both arms leading to the bucket. The model number “S175” is visible as well on both sides of the vehicle. This Bobcat has 4 rubber tires as opposed to a track style machine.

Crimestoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1000 when a felony arrest is made as a result of information provided. Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of this stolen piece of property or any other other crimes or fugitives are asked to contact the Clinton Area Crime stoppers at 217-935-3333.
