(Tempe, AZ) -- Number-10 UCLA used a rash of big plays to cruise past 12th-ranked Arizona State, 62-27, in a Pac-12 matchup at Sun Devil Stadium. The Bruins fell behind 17-6 and then outscored the Sun Devils 56-10 the rest of the way. Ishmael Adams had a 95-yard interception return for a touchdown and a 100-yard kick-off return for a score. Brett Hundley threw for 355 yards and four touchdowns, including connecting on two 80-yard TDs with Eldridge Massington and Jordan Payton. UCLA is 4-and-0 overall and 1-and-0 in conference. ASU outgained the Bruins 622-580, but four turnovers came back to haunt the Sun Devils. Mike Bercovici got the start at QB for the injured Taylor Kelly and tossed for 488 yards through the air with three touchdowns and two interceptions. The Devils are 4-and-1 and 1-and-1.

Daxx Garman threw for four touchdowns and ran for another as 24th-ranked Oklahoma State outgunned Texas Tech, 45-35, in the Big 12 opener for both programs.
Garman hooked up with James Washington for two scores and finished with 370 yards and two interceptions for the Cowboys (3-1, 1-0 Big 12), who have won three straight since a season-opening loss to No. 1 Florida State.
Davis Webb also tossed four touchdown passes and had Texas Tech (2-2, 0-1) within striking distance before going down with a left shoulder injury early in the fourth quarter.
The teams combined for 1,034 yards of offense and 287 penalty yards.

(Cincinnati, OH) -- A University of Cincinnati football player is dead after a motorcycle crash. WXIX-TV reports Chamoda [[ sha-MAH-duh ]] Kennedy-Palmore was killed this afternoon on Vine Street in the Avondale neighborhood when he was hit by a car. Kennedy-Palmore was a redshirt freshman walk-on for UC and a graduate of Lakota East High School. Police say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
